About Me

I practise mainly from the Wellington Centre in Hastings. I have had a wide range of client experience, including working with depression, anxiety, phobias, relationships, life changes, personal development, stress, and low self-esteem. I also currently serve in a voluntary capacity with a counselling charity in Hastings, having previously worked with other voluntary agencies in Sussex and Kent.

I use the techniques of cognitive behavioural therapy for those clients who think that this approach might help them. In my counselling work, I am able, when appropriate for a client, to draw on my earlier management experience as chief executive of two national organisations. This experience can be of particular value for clients with work-related issues. I also have an MBA degree from the City University Business School and continue to hold trustee roles with several charities.

I previously served as a Samaritan in London and Sussex. Also in a voluntary capacity, I worked as a mentor with head-teachers in London for 15 years.

In addition to counselling for individuals and couples, I offer a life coaching service at the Wellington Centre.
